To cut a long story short:
Back in late February I sent some money to Brazil. Mestre Pintor got the money, and found a good place to buy some top-quality handmade capoeira instruments for a very reasonable price. We were really happy to receive the great news.
Mestre then sent the money onto an instrument maker in Rio De Janeiro. The guy took the money, and disappeared!! 
Mestre Pintor in Brazil and Formado Gringo in Australia spent many hours trying to track him down, but to no avail. All was lost.
That was until this month, some money was raised, and we got the good news Mestre Pintor would compensate GBC Japao. GBC Australia aluno, Jatoba received some money from Mestre while they met up for the GBC Alemanha Batizado in Germany this June.
Jatoba is flying to Sao Paulo to meet up with our great and trusted friend Lucas Pinto, and they are going to buy some new instruments, and then send them onto Japan!
