After eventually finding the location of Cordao de Contas' batizado we had a wonderful time and were impressed with the high level of capoeira and number of members in the group. Although there were not many guests at this batiazado, Cordao de Contas was more than able to make up for the numbers with their own students. What seemed like almost 100 members taking place in the batizado conducted by Mestre Decio and Professor Samurai. Guests included Grupo Tempo, Capoeira Regional, and of course Grupo Bantus Capoeira. Congratulations to Cordao de Contas for holding their 6th Batizado in Japan. Thank you for your warm hospitality. Axé!
