Mitaka Fureai Festa 2005
On Satruday and Sunday Mitaka City will be hosting their 23rd Fureai (Contact) Festa.
There will be plenty of hands-on stalls such as Goldfish Scooping, Watermelon Breaking, and the usual matsuri customs. There will also be Mikoshi Portable Shrines and a Samba Parade held by International Christian University on Saturday.
If you’re feeling hungry, you won’t be disapointed by the traditional Japanese festival foods like Yaki Soba and Kaki Gori.
So, let’s go to Mitaka Chuo Dori after the beginners/music class on Saturday to see if we can catch the Samba Parade, and then enjoy some yummy shaved ice! 
Place: Mitaka Chuo Dori, JR Mitaka Station.
Time: After class on Saturday 30th.
