We have great news!
We have been chosen out of thousands of applicants to participate in the Mitaka City MISHOP World Festival 2005. On Sunday 25th September we will showcase capoeira to the people of Mitaka City in this great event that promotes international relations and understanding. Here’s MISHOP with more on the festival…
All of us at MISHOP work together through many activities and events to create opportunities for people with different ways of thinking, culture, and lifestyles from many countries to come together and get to know and appreciate each other. Every year we try to find new ways for all of us at this festival to overcome language barriers and enjoy each other’s company. Find yourselves a nice spot near the tent shops and enjoy a day of eating, drink, dancing, playing, and – above all – making friends. We hope you make this a time for real relaxation, and that the memories you take home will be the start of something new in your lives.
We will be performing on the main stage, so we need everyone’s axé to get the audience involved in our performance and leave them with a memorable experience of Grupo Bantus Capoeira. All Bantus students (and friends) are needed for the performance, so make sure you’re training hard in class everyweek! 
Of course, friends and family are welcome to this free event.
