Wow! 
What a great workshop, thanks to Cafune, Kanako, Tomoko and Espaguete, everything went really smoothly and we all had a great time. In total, 48 kids aged around 10y/o and 25 adults took part in our workshop at the Japan Lutheran College in Mushashi-sakai. The participants came from all over Japan to take part in a special Brazilian Culture camp during their summer vacation. In our workshop we covered a very brief history of capoeira and Grupo Bantus. The students learnt two capoeira songs (all in Portuguese), and were introduced to the Ginga, Negativa, and Quiexada. A few lucky volunteers got to play in a big roda at the end of the class. What quick learners!
The kids were so well behaved, and obviously enjoyed themselves so much. You could see it in their faces how excited they were to experience our amazing art. Of course, we were more than happy to share capoeira with them. They quickly got over their shyness and then we finished off with a roda of samba!
Thanks to the organizers, and thanks to MISHOP for connecting us. And thanks for the special Brazilian style dinner after our workshop.

Super Kids Capoeira Workshop!!
スーパー キッズ カポエイラ ワークショップ！！
開演７：３０PM～
このワークショップは東京都武蔵野市武蔵境にある
ルーテル学院大学にて行われます。

JR中央線「武蔵境駅」南口改札に６：１５PM集合後、
みんなで一緒に現地へ向かいます。
このイベントには、な、なんと７０名（！）もの生徒（主に１０歳児とその母親達）
が参加することになっていますので、メンバーの皆さん他、どなたでも
ぜひご参加の上、手を貸してください～！！
今回のイベントも、結構楽しく盛り上がれそうな感じですのでお見逃しなく♪
８月９日（火）三鷹第三中学校でのクラスは、お休みとさせて
いただきますのでご注意下さい☆

Super Kids Capoeira Workshop!!
Starting at 7.30pm.
The workshop will take place at the Japan Lutheran College in Musahi-sakai, Musashino City.
Let’s meet at JR Musashi-Sakai Station (on the JR Chuo Line) Minami/South Exit at 6.15pm.
We’re expecting around 70 people at the workshop, so we need all our members to come along and help out! It’s going to be great fun and shouldn’t be missed.
There will be no Tuesday night class at San Chu on August 9th.
