Well, we are sad to say the MISHOP World Festival 2005 has been cancelled. 
We’ve been hyping it up, training hard, and looking forward to it for months! But due to an on-coming typhoon, the organizers decided to cancel the entire event. It will not be rescheduled, so we will have to wait till 2006 for our next chance.
Not to be down in the dumps for too long. We’re going to have an open roda for anyone who can make it to Mitaka Daisan Chugakkou starting from 7.30pm on Sunday September 25th.
Class will start at the normal time of 6.30pm.
We’re sorry about the bad news, but we hope you can make it to our open roda in Inokashira tonight!
Yeah, it was disappointing. But I was glad to see you guys at San Chu roda. I was so excited to see Angola. It is just incredibly artistic and beautiful! Can we learn more of that? ai, ai, aidê ♪

Yeah, they cancelled the whole festival for what turned out to be just a little bit of wind in the morning (even I get a bit of wind in the mornings - hahaha)! It’s a real shame, but I guess typhoons are serious business so they didn’t want to take any chances. But so many people put so many hours into that festival, and so many people would have been really dissapointed. But there’s still the Mitaka Sports Festival next month.
So any way, the roda at San Chu was pretty nice, hey?. Capoeira Angola is great, wait till you see the videos from our festival in Malaysia. So, if you want to learn more angola, you need to come to class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, ne!? o(^_-)0 Well anyway, I’m trying to write a report about the Bantus Festival in Malaysia, but I’m still waiting for some more photos from our members.
