AGM 2006

On Sunday March 5th, 2006 we had our very first Annual General Meeting.

Those present at the meeting were:

The meeting started just after 3.30pm as we were running late after performing at the “March in March” in Shinjuku.

We started the meeting by handing out a survey for everyone to answer. The survey listed 30 things that each person was required to rank from 1-5 considering what was important to them.

Then we looked at the official Rules and Regulations for GBC Japan. This promoted some good discussion, and addressed some issues people were concerned with.

Then we looked at forming the GBC Japan 2006 committee.

Finally we took a look at the 2006 membership sign-up form, took a couple of photos to mark the day, and made our way to Kichijoji for a lovely dinner of Organic Italian food, and all-you-can-drink cocktails and beer.

If you haven’t already joined the Bantus Capoeira Worldwide Forum, you’re missing out on mixing with your fellow Bantulinos from all over the world. Functions are sending/receiving messages, writing/reading a diary and making comments on diaries, organizing/joining communities and inviting friends.
