As part of our advertising campaign for the upcoming Saturday Class in Kichijoji! we had a bunch of our new flyers printed up at Artisan Face Company in Kichijoji and we’ve been putting them in all the shops all over Kichijoji.
So if you’re shopping around Kichijoji (the best damn neighbourhood in Tokyo), be sure to stop by Bondi Books for some quality 2nd-hand books. If you’re looking for some delicious New York style wraps, rolls, and crepes, check out The Roll. If it’s authentic Brazilian cooking in a friendly atmosphere with great music and Tokyo’s best caipirinhas you’re after, check out Alvorada. For more delcious food, check out the amazing burgers at the Village Vanguard Diner , right next door to Event Hall Musashino, the venue of our new Saturday Capoeira Class in Kichijoji. You’ll also find our flyers in their two novelty shops, one in front of Starbucks in the back of Tokyu Department Store, and the one in Parco Department Store. Speaking of Parco Department Store, they’ve got a few of our flyers floating around also.
Let’s not forget the Peppermint Cafe for some hot Thai food and Noodle Chafe & Bar just near Inokashira Park, for some great Eurasian fusion cuisine and some of the friendliest service in Kichijoji.
We love you Kichijoji!!!

Here’s a little sneak peek behind the scenes at GBC Japão:

As part of our advertising campaign for the upcoming Saturday Class in Kichijoji! we’ve paid for an ad to be published in the Metropolis Magazine Classifieds section.
Advertising is one of those necessary expenses that you need to think about really cafeully when promoting your capoeira group. Sure, there’s plenty of ways to advertise for free, the best way is to do public street rodas. That being one of the things that makes Grupo Bantus Capoeira different from other groups. Mestre Pintor’s philosophy is to make capoeira accessible to everyone, not just “those in the know”. So expect at lot of public rodas in Inokashira Park as soon as the weather heats up!
