It’s Summer Holiday time, in Japan they say “O-Bon” but at Bantus Capoeira Japan we say “Brazil here we come!”.

Roda do Parque
The weather has been really strange lately, but we’ll have our fingers crossed for this Sunday. We had originally planned to go to the beach for a special summer day trip. But the cost of transportation was way too much. So we decided to go to the much more closer Tachikawa Showa Kinen Koen!!!
Let’s hope for a beautiful sunny day with no clouds.

≪2006年7月以降の活動予定を簡単にまとめてみました！！≫
今後のクラスで行う、練習+RODAとは別に毎週日曜のクラスでは今までより長めにRodaをします。
☆下記に記名されているスケジュールはRoda+特別な予定ですが、クラスは通常の時間に始まりますので、いつも通りクラスにお越し下さいね！！平日：火曜・木曜は18：30～、土曜は19時～日曜日は変更無ければ15時～の通常通りです。☆ただし、日曜日関しては今までよりも長めにRodaを行います。他の曜日に関してはトレーニングRoda +Free Rodaを両方行います♪

Too fast for the camera!
Thanks a million to Ling, and the crew from Channelnewsasia Singapore for coming to our class today to shoot video for their documentary on Kichijoji. It had to be our sweatiest class this year so far! I coudn’t stop sweating during our interview after the roda! ewwww!

Here’s a run down of the rodas and shows we have planned:
Apart from the training rodas we have during class, and rodas we have at the end of every class we will also have some extra long rodas on Sunday afternoons.
Classes will start at the regular times of 3pm, 6.30pm, or 7pm on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday respectively. The times below are for our “roda of the week” (ROTW), or “roda of the month” (ROTM).
July 2006
Sunday 2nd July at Go Sho from 5pm - 5.45pm. (ROTW)
Sunday 9th July at Go Sho from 5pm - 5.45pm. (ROTW)
Saturday 15th July ABADA Batizado followed by our regular Capoeira Basics class in Kichijoji 7pm-9pm.
Sunday 16th July Grupo Tempo Batizado, no Bantus Capoeira class this day.
Sunday 23rd July at San Sho Special Capoeira Acro Class from 3pm to 4.30pm, followed by a street roda on the main street of Mitaka City 5pm - 6pm. (ROTW)
Please bring some light weight outdoor sports shoes.
Sunday 30th July BEACH RODA DAY TRIP!!! Time and place to be decided, any ideas?. (ROTM)
August 2006
Sunday August 6th at San Chu from 5pm - 5.45pm. (ROTW)
Sunday August 13th at San Chu Boa Viagem Roda from 4.30pm - 5.45pm. (ROTM)
Followed by a Boa Viagem Party somewhere in Kichijoji!
Tuesday August 15th at San Chu last class for Bantus Capoeira Japan before we go to the Festival Mundial Bantus Capoeira 2006 in Brazil!
September 2006
Saturday September 9th at Event Hall Musashino first class back from 7pm - 9pm.
Sunday September 24th MISHOP World Festival 2006, Inokashira Park. more info coming soon

October 2006
