Video Clip Teaser

Here’s a little teaser video clip from our very eventful weekend Saturday 12th/Sunday 13th August 2006.

Due to technical issues this video has been removed - Edited Jan, 15, 2008

The weekend included a Saturday night capoeira class at Event Hall Musashino 2F with special guest Coruja from Bantus Singapore, followed by the always enjoyable Rooftop Yukata BBQ Party.
Sunday was JAM PACKED with a capoeira class at San Chu including interviews and video shooting with the crew from Japanese Cable TV show Juice TV Plus. The Boa Viagem roda was extra long with muito axé. The TV crew wanted to see some solo action, so Mico, Quati, Cafune, and Caçapa pulled out all the stops to put on a good show.
Next we had a great Boa Viagem Party at the Noodle Chafe & Bar, followed by a couple of unforgetable street rodas in Kichijoji!

Full review coming soon.

Brazil Trip 2006 Notice

We’ll be picking up some beautiful berimbaus and pandeiros in Brazil. Let us know if you’d like to buy some authentic Brazilian capoeira instruments at a reasonable price. We won’t charge crazy prices like some other places in Japan.

We’re going to be donating 2nd hand clothes and health care products to our friends living in the favelas (ghettos) in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. If you have any clean 2nd hand clothes or would like to put together a small healthcare kit (toothbrushes, toothpaste, condoms etc) please get in contact with us so we can make some space in our backpacks.
