Don’t forget this Monday is Sports and Health Day, a national holiday in Japan.
Bantus Capoeira Japan has been invited to perform two shows as part of the Mitaka Sports Festival 2006.
For all Bantus members and those wishing to take part in this awesome event, please pay close attention to the following.

All members of the performing team must meet at 10.30-10.45am at the bus stop in front of the Mitaka City Hall. From there we will be met by the event organizers and taken to the warm-up area backstage. If you’re running late, please let us know by calling or emailing Caçapa’s and/or Cafune’s mobile phone. Please don’t be late!
In the warm-up area we’ll be getting the axé ready and getting focused to show the people of Mitaka what Bantus Capoeira is all about.

If that’s all too hard to understand, just meet us at the Bantus apartment, we’ll leave at 10am! We need some help to carry all the instruments anyway, and every extra hand will be appreciated.

Time: 9.30am – 3.30pm. Capoeira shows at 12pm and 2pm.

We’ve just updated the calendar on our site. You’ll notice it’s completely different and jam-packed full of interactive features!

We’ve started using Google Calendar to manage all our class schedules and events. Use the controls to navigate through the year, check out the upcoming agenda, click on each event for more information.

You can print the calendar. You can import the schedule to your own Google Calendar or other applications, you can have reminders emailed to your mobile phone, you can leave comments on events, and you can search the calendar for a specific event. You can even add the live feed to your RSS Feed Reader (ie. the Mozilla Firefox web browser), and it’s available in just about every language.

We have created schedules in both English and Japanese.

If you want to use all these functions, you should sign up for your own Google account and get a Google Calendar for yourself. Don’t worry, you won’t need a Google account just to view the calendar.
