はーい！みなさん。長くかかりましたがやっと更新ができました！（日本語訳も完了！）10 月、11 月はBANTUSのプロモーションであちこち駆け回りとてつもなく忙しかったんです。
9月はブラジルから帰国して、「Mishop World Festival 」がありました。10 月には「三鷹スポーツフェスティバル」、「Nudist Beach」、と「Casty ネットTV生出演」。今月は「祖師谷アートフェスティバル」、「Bem Brasil 12 」、「B’day Beats」、「お初にじの会」、「むさしのＦＭカルチャーフェスティバル」そしてそして！忘れてはいけない「Bantus Capoeira Japao 2 周年記念バースデイパーティー＆忘年会2006 」とイベント尽くしです！さらにはなんと僕（Cacapa）はメトロポリスマガジンからインタビューを受け11 月10日号の雑誌に載ったり、podcast に出演してberimbauを弾いかせて頂きました♪
メディア関係の話といえば、7 月と8月に撮影に来てくれたシンガポールと日本のテレビクルーから、ＤＶＤが届きました。映像はもうブログに載せてあります。編集がどちらも素晴らしくとっても満足しています！シンガポールの皆様本当にありがとうございました！！
最後に、このブログは全体的に「お色直し」しました。皆さん気に入ってくれているとうれしいです！！

GBC Japão 2nd Anniversary and Bonenkai Update
Don’t forget tonights 2nd Anniversary and Bonenkai Party in Kichijoji.
This party is going to be full of suprises, prizes, and lots of fun! We’ve been working really hard all year, so its time to party!
We’ll also be having a street roda in Kichijoji after the party so bring some good street roda shoes too (or go barefoot)!
So let’s meet out the front of the Noodle Chafe Bar at 6:30pm. The drinks don’t stop flowing until 9:30pm!

Musashino FM Culture Festival Update
We finally got informed by Musashino FM about our rehearsal and performance times for todays Musashino FM Culture Festival in Kichijoji.
All members of GBC Japão are requested to meet at 10:30-10:45am in front of Baskin Robbins 31 just outside the North/Chuo Exit of Kichijoji Station. All performance groups involved in the event will be there for a rehearsal in the morning.
Our official performance time is 2pm, but we’ll be involved in the opening ceremony at 1pm.

Hey everyone, here’s the update I’ve been meaning to write for while. We’ve been super busy in October and November, and I’ve been running around like mad trying to promote Bantus as much as possible.
In September we got back from Brazil and then had the Mishop World Festival, events in October included the Mitaka Sports Festival, Nudist Beach (2), and the Casty live internet TV appearance. Our shows this month include the Soshigaya Art Festival, Bem Brasil 12, B’day Beats, the First Nijino Kai, and the Musashino FM Cultural Festival. And don’t forget our 2nd Anniversary and Bonenkai Party.
I was also lucky enough to appear in the Metropolis Magazine on November 10th, and play berimbau on their podcast.
Speaking of media appearances, we recently received in the post a DVD and a video cassette from our Singapore and Japanese TV crew shoots back in July and August, the clips will be on this blog shortly. The stories turned out really well, and we were so happy with the results!
Finally, this blog got a total make-over and is now running just the way I hoped.

If you’re in Tokyo this week, make sure you get yourself a copy of the Metropolis Magazine, Japan’s No.1 English Magazine. Because when you turn to page five you’ll see Bantus Capoeira Japão’s very own instructor, Caçapa. The interview in the weekly feature “faces & places” q&a section was conducted via email with Connor Shepherd and the magazine’s editor. Of course due to space contraints the interview had to be cut somewhat but the full interview can be seen at the bottom of this post.

Bantus Capoeira has been invited to perform at the first Musashino FM Culture Festival. Please let us know if you’re able to make it to the show, all Bantus students are requested to participate. We are still waiting for confirmation from the organizers for the exact time and format of our capoeira show. Please bring your friends and family, there’ll be lots of other performances and stalls at the event.
Time: 1.00pm - 5.00pm.
