It may be freezing on the streets of Shinjuku in December, but it’s boiling hot in the hearts of Tokyo’s capoeiristas all year round!

This Roda will be a Open Roda for any Capoeirista from around Japan and people interested in Brazilian culture. There will be workshops for kids and adults. Capoeira groups confirmed for the event include Grupo Tempo, Abada Capoeira, Bantus Capoeira, Nação Capoeira and more.

A new event will be born on the December 17th on Moa 4th Street in Shinjuku’s San Chome. In the hope of making a better image of Shinjuku and creating a new form of re-educating the public. A small team of hard working capoeiristas have created this cultural, interactive and educational event in the area to let people participate and know more about other cultures preserving always the environment of life.
