Festa Junina & Farewell Party
Festa Junina is a typical harvest festival originally celebrated in Northeasern Brazil at the beginning of winter or the rainy season, and now becoming popular around the world riding on the coattails of the current Forró boom. What makes Festa Junina so fun is everyone gets to dress up as country folk and enjoy typical country style food, music and dance.
So for GBC Japão, that means the men will be drawing moustaches and mono-brows on their faces, wearing checked shirts, overalls, old jeans and suspenders, and straw hats. Meanwhile the women will be drawing freckles on their faces and painted-gaps on their teeth, pigtails and wearing checked/floral country dresses.
We’ll also be saying goodbye and thank you to Professor Gringo and our other guests from Australia.

Time: Doors open 7pm. Free Forró lesson. Last order 9pm. Doors close 10pm.

フェスタ・ジュニーナとは、伝統的にはブラジル北部で冬の始めや雨季に祝われた収穫祭のことです。今ではフォホのブームに乗って世界中で人気を集めています。フェスタ・ジュニーナの面白い点は、カントリー調の衣装をまとい、地方の食事、音楽、ダンスを楽しめるところです。
GBCJによるフェスタ・ジュニーナでは、男性はひげと一本つながり眉毛を顔に描き、チェックのシャツとオーバーオールか古びたジーンズとサスペンダー、そしてむぎわら帽子をかぶります。そして女性は、そばかすとすきっ歯を描き、ミツアミ、チェックもしくは花柄のカントリー調ドレスをまといます。
このパーティーは、プロフェソール・グリンゴとオーストラリアからのゲストへの送迎会の意味も含まれています。
