GBCJ Workshops with Gringo
Here it is, the official schedule and workshop fees for Professor Gringo’s visit to Japan!
Gringo will be teaching capoeira fundamentals, fundamentals of the roda, music, instruments, floreiros (acrobatics), and capoeira movements. The Professor is famous for his solid capoeira basics and knowledge of all aspects of capoeira culture. He has been wowing capoeira students and spectators alike with his explosive floreiros and combinations across the world for years.
All workshops and rodas are open to GBC members, non-members, and students of other capoeira groups to participate in. For people who’ve never done capoeira before, we recommend you try the Beginners Workshops and definitely come to our Open Roda on Saturday 7th. For those with some capoeira experience try to make it to all Open Workshops. For those who have been training with GBC for more than one year, don’t miss the Advanced Workshops. Definitely come to brush up your basics and pick up some incredible new movements to show off in the roda.

Important You must arrive 5-10 minutes before the advertised time and allow yourself some time to walk from the station. Please let us know if you’re running late. Please wear your GBC t-shirt and pants every workshop. We have plenty of t-shirts and some colour pants in stock. Send us an email if you need to buy some. Workshop Price System? Paid GBC members have two options: Pre-order your workshops in advance and get a super discount on each workshop. You just need to confirm which days you’ll be attending, and show up on time on that day to receive your discount. 1500yen Pay at the door and you get the basic members discount. 2000yen Non GBC members have two options: Pre-order your workshops in advance and get a 500yen discount on each workshop. You just need to confirm which days you’ll be attending, and show up on time on that day to receive your discount. 2500yen Pay at the door and you must pay the full-price workshop fee. 3000yen Pre-order your workshops Tell us which days you’ll be coming in advance, up till the day before the workshop. プロフェソール・グリンゴのワークショップの公式なスケジュールと料金が決まりました！
カポエイラの基礎、ホダの基礎、音楽、楽器、フロレイロス（アクロバット）、カポエイラに必要な動きをグリンゴは教えます。グリンゴはしっかりとしたカポエイラの基礎とそれにまつわる文化背景を熟知していることで有名です。目を見張るフロレイロスとコンビネーションで何年もの間、世界中のカポエイラの生徒と観客をグリンゴは驚かせてきました。
ワークショップの全てとホダは、GBCのメンバー、非メンバー、他カポエイラ団体メンバーが参加できます。カポエイラを今回初めて試す人は、ビギナー・ワークショップと7日（土）のオープン・ホダに参加することをお勧めします。すでにカポエイラの経験のある人は、オープン・ワークショップの全てに参加するのをお勧めします。GBCで1年以上練習している人は、アドバンス・ワークショップへ参加してみましょう。このワークショップで基礎を磨き、新しい動きを学び、ホダで実演してみましょう。
