Open Roda in Yoyogi Park
Straight after our performance at the Antaru Festival we’ll be having an open roda! So stick around and get some more roda action! There’s sure to be plenty of people and guests from capoeira groups around Tokyo. Don’t miss out. Cancelled in case of bad weather.

Classes on the 1st, 3rd, 6th, 8th, and 10th are open to the “bring-a-friend” offer.
Conditions
This offer is valid only for friends, family, co-workers, and acquaintances of paid members of Grupo Bantus Capoeira Japão.
This offer is valid only for the recipient’s first class, on taking their second class they will pay the full drop-in price.
Members may bring up to 3 friends per class for each day the offer is open.
In the case we do not have capoeira class or if we have a special event on that day, the offer will not be valid.
Starting in October, Bantus Capoeira Japan offers the Half Year Membership.
Just like the full 12 month membership, you’ll get a free Bantus Capoeira t-shirt of your choice, a Bantus Capoeira sticker, membership booklet with lyrics to capoeira songs, a 500yen discount on class fees, and discounts on special workshops, events, and merchandise like t-shirts and capoeira pants!

Antaru Festival 2007
GBC has been invited to perform at the Antaru Festival in Yoyogi Park.
The Antaru Festival Project is designed to nurture the spirit of peace that is ever present and rapidly growing in our world, as well as provide a model for the future of the peace movement. It’s an opportunity to experience the actualization of peace through a from of celebration that dissolves boundaries between individuals, races and cultures. This act of bringing people closer together is achieved by sharing of unique cultural customs, as well as varieties of ethnic culture, food and music within the festival itself.
Date: Sunday, November 25th, 2007
Time: 9.50am - 4.50pm. Capoeira performance from 2.05pm-2.30pm. Meet at JR Harajuku Station at 12.30pm 1pm at the Yoyogi Koen entrance.
