As of 9:30am the ground conditions are slightly wet. Lots of yucky grey clouds in the sky, and there’s a bit of a chill in the air. However, people are out and about enjoying the park.
There’s a 50% chance of rain in the afternoon. So it looks like we’ll have to cancel the park roda.
Roda or no roda, Caçapa will be out there having some fun with the berimbaus, rain, hail, or shine.
Bring some street roda shoes if you’re up for some fun
According to weather forecasts, there is a chance of light rain on Sunday. In the case of rain, the WNTD 2009 Open Roda will be cancelled. A final decision will we made by 10am on Sunday morning, and our blog will be updated.
Don’t miss this chance to enrol your kids in capoeira class. Instructor Caçapa brings over 5 years of experience teaching capoeira to Japanese and Non-Japanese children and youth at Japanese and International schools across Tokyo and in Australia!
Thanks again for the workshops. The students are still talking about them!

Less than 5 minutes walk from Kichijoji Station, about 15 minutes from Shinjuku on the JR Chuo line, or Shibuya on the Keio Inokashira Line.
Every Saturday we’ll be at Mitaka San Chu Junior High School from 12.30pm-5pm (doors open 12.15pm).
About 20 minutes walk from Kichijoji Station through the lovely Inokashira Park and surrounding neighbourhood.
Most Sundays we have a Park Roda in Inokashira Park, or other exciting event planned.
Please check our schedule page to confirm classes and events.
After five years in Japan, we’ll be starting our first Bantus Capoeira Kids Class! More information about the Kids Class coming soon.
